Theo at Cinemagic
Theo, directed by Jo Galvv and Monica Palazzo, has been selected for the 37th Cinemagic International Film Festival, taking place in Belfast in October 2026.
Cinemagic is an annual competitive film festival dedicated to bringing international cinema to young audiences. Now in its 37th year, it is the largest film festival for young people in the UK and Ireland, presented by Cinemagic Ltd., a non-profit media arts charity.
Theo will screen as part of Next Stop, Planet X (International Shorts Programme 1), a competition programme bringing together six short films from around the world that explore childhood, resilience and the experience of growing up.
In Theo, a child who is often excluded from games moves through a world that refuses to see them as they are.
