Theo Selected for the 34th MixBrasil Festival
Theo, a short fiction film co-directed by Jo Galvv and Monica Palazzo, has been selected for the 34th Festival MixBrasil de Cultura da Diversidade, one of Latin America’s leading festivals celebrating LGBTQIA+ cinema and culture.
The festival announced its Brazilian film selection, featuring 84 productions from 16 Brazilian states and the Federal District. Theo appears in the Curtas MixBrasil selection, alongside short films exploring diverse perspectives and experiences.
The selection marks another milestone in the film’s festival journey following its world premiere at BFI Flare in London in 2026 and its participation in other Brazilian and international film programs.
The 34th Festival MixBrasil takes place in São Paulo from November 11 to 22, 2026, bringing together films, performances, talks, and industry events dedicated to LGBTQIA+ representation and artistic expression.
